Wake Me Up When September Ends


Nice, September just came by and i want it a end now. I seldom listen to english music songs but Green Day was one of my favourite band group. Army in those day..


Billie Joe Armstrong Lead vocal singer - A true story of his father died month of the September.

It's about Billie Joe's father's death in 10th September of 1982 and how so much time has passed. hence, "like my father's come to pass 20 years has gone so fast." and the other lyric, "as my memory restsbut never forgets what I lost." Is talking about he never forgets what he lost (which is his father)

Maybe i should more to english songs? :)
